lockdin builds a master profile from sources you provide and generates tailored résumés for job postings, with matching, tracking, and revision tools. AI output is grounded in the material you supply — the system is instructed never to invent employers, dates, or metrics — but you are responsible for reviewing every résumé before you send it. It's your name on the page.
Keep your credentials to yourself and give us accurate information. Don't use lockdin to misrepresent your background, spam employers, scrape or overload the service, reverse-engineer it, or violate a third platform's terms (the browser extension captures pages you're viewing at your own direction). We can suspend accounts that abuse the service or its quotas.
The free plan includes a monthly quota of tailored résumés (generations and revisions both count; switching templates is free; a re-tailor that can reuse an existing sibling version is free). There are three paid options, all charged through Stripe. The 90-Day Job-Search Pass is a one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited tailoring for 90 days and then simply ends; nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel. The Monthly subscription renews until you cancel — cancel any time from the billing portal and you keep unlimited tailoring until the end of the paid period. The credit pack is a one-time purchase of additional résumé credits that do not expire and are used only after your free monthly quota is exhausted.
When a Pass expires or a subscription ends, you drop to the free plan with your data intact. Unused free-plan quota does not roll over; purchased pack credits do. No dark patterns: prices are on the pricing page and cancellation takes two clicks.
14 days, if it is substantially unused. Email us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it in full, provided you have not substantially used what you bought — for the Pass, that means you have not run tailoring against it; for a credit pack, that you have not spent the credits. We check the account rather than ask you to prove anything. If you have used it, tell us what went wrong anyway; we would rather fix it or refund it than keep money from someone we did not help.
Monthly is different because it is recurring: cancel any time and you keep access to the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate part-months, and we do not bill you again after you cancel. Refunds are returned to the original payment method by Stripe and typically take 5–10 business days to appear.
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK you also have a statutory right to withdraw within 14 days of purchase. Because these are digital services delivered immediately, you are asked to consent to that immediate start at checkout, which means the statutory right ends once the service has been fully performed. The 14-day policy above is offered regardless of that, and is intended to be at least as generous as the right it sits alongside — nothing here removes a right you have by law.
Your profile, uploads, and generated résumés are yours. You grant us the license needed to store and process them to run the service — nothing more. We claim no ownership over anything you create with lockdin.
lockdin improves the odds and the honesty of your applications; it does not and cannot promise interviews, offers, or employment. Job listings come from third-party sources and may be stale or inaccurate — verify with the original posting before applying.
The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions employers make.
You can delete your account at any time. We can terminate accounts that breach these terms. If the terms change materially we'll flag it in-app before the change takes effect; continuing to use the service after that is acceptance.
lockdin is operated by Elvin Topalov, trading as lockdin. Reach us at hello@joinlockdin.com for anything about these terms, refunds, or your account.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, and the courts there have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute — except that if you are a consumer, nothing here deprives you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, or of your right to bring a claim in your local courts.
